I Loved Those Commercials! Tacos Give Me Gas!

Maybe you don't remember the little Chihuahua from the Taco Bell commercials but many of us did for years.

Gidget was the Taco Bell equivalent of the Wendy's old lady, "Where's The Beef" at about that same era. Or maybe, today insurance gecko. Only Gidget was said to be an illegal immigrant.

Yo quiero Gidget!

All of us fast food junkies of our generation remember and so we must be getting on in years also. In fact, I often get the years mixed up, all the way back to the Alka Seltzer "I can't believe I at the whole thing." with wife beside him who looks like she's been eating the whole thing.

Gidget passed on, on Tuesday. I wonder if two more famous dogs or famous animal commercials stars will pass on.

Maybe one of them already has.

Gidget is said to have suffered a stroke at the ripe old age of 15. "She made so many people happy," says Gidget's trainer, Sue Chipperton, who added that the recently retired actor lived out her last days lying in the sun. Probably in Cancun.

I hope she's happy with the big dog free range 1,000,000 acres in the sky!All dogs go to heaven it's said. I hope my four cats make it.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
