Los Angeles, CA - Gidget the Taco Bell dog has died at the age of 15, the result of a stroke. Although she was in semi-retirement, she had been brought out to do 50 shows by AEG, the same entertainment company that had lured Michael Jackson out of retirement.
Said one media analyst, "It's really disgusting. AEG had all these venues to fill since Michael Jackson, 'The King of Pop', decided to bow out by offing himself, so they get this little chihuahua to commit to fifty shows. Apparently she only thought she was going to do ten."
It is believed that Gidget had been rehearsing at the Staples Center when the intense heat that California has been experiencing in the past few days finally got to her.
In her will, Gidget had left all her worldly goods to former President, George W. Bush's dog, Barney.
