New Orleans - Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has come out from under the covers to attack President Obama once again, this time it's health care. In an op-ed he wrote in Politico, Jindal says "I know a little something about health care policy…"
Evidently he hasn't been reading the latest studies placing Louisiana in the last spot in the country when it comes to health care. In fact, it would appear that of all the Governors in the nation, Jindal knows the least about health care. According to a news report last December by Jan Moller of The Times-Picayune, Louisiana ranked 50th in overall health. The year before, they ranked not much better at 49th. The results made public by the United Health Foundation, states that Louisiana's "high rates of obesity, infant mortality and preventable hospitalizations" are what garnered them the lowest spot in the nation.
It is not known whether ignorance played a part in such dismal showings for the state, but it is highly likely. It is rumored that Jindal continues to suffer from delusions but cannot seek help because the State Insurance Program does not cover mental illness.
