Authorities in Buenos Aires have identified South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford's mistress as Veronica Braun-the daughter of former Nazi dictator Adolph Hitler and his wife, Eva Braun.
The 49-year-old Veronica Braun had successfully kept her parentage secret until the Sanford cheating scandal exploded in the United States.
"I truly love Mark, and I just wish my dad and mom were still around so they could dress up in spiffy Nazi regalia and salute him," Veronica told an informed source.
Friends of Veronica say the Furher and Eva Braun slipped into South America aboard a German U-Boat in 1945, but held off having a child until 1960-when they believed they had fooled everyone into thinking they had died in Berlin at the end of World War Two.
"I sincerely hope this revelation of Veronica's affair with a married American politician will not sully her good name and embarrass the legacy of her parents," the Argentine source added.
