Jackson, MS. - Students at Martin Van Buren high School in Mud Flaps, Mississippi received quite a surprise when they returned to school Monday. Their run-down school principal, who was accidentally highlighted by Barrack Obama after his teleprompter broke down, received a facelift.
Prunella Devoe was just as excited as her students when she learned that president Barrack Obama would be appearing at the school. She ordered new paint for the halls and classrooms, an upgrade to the school's public address system and fresh landscaping, but the one thing she couldn't do anything about was her own appearance.
Already self-conscious about her appearance, she sat in the audience instead of up on the stage. She went relatively unnoticed until the inevitable happened. The teleprompter stalled and the president had to ad-lib half way through his speech.
Stumbling for something to say ,he looked out at the audience and caught a glimpse of her. He stared for a minute and then blurted out, "I've seen ugly before but damn,girl,you is ugly!".
