MADRID - The government of Spain has just been informed by its national health organization, La Organizacion Nacional de Healtho that several veterinary hospitals in Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia are reporting that they have admitted several swine with cases of People Flu.
The director of LONDH Vicente Salamanca-Covington said that at first veterinary doctors simply believed that the swine were suffering from common pork rind aliments and bacon-related rashes.
They felt that the swine could be treated by giving them the standard hog fever pill known as Porky Pig Pildora Numero Cinco (Porky Pig Pill Number Five).
But nurses soon began reporting that the pills only made the pigs agitated and nervous and some began trying to rut right there on the linoleum floor.
They said that the situaton got so out of hand that security had to be called in and in two cases the guards had to end up shooting the patients (pigs).
Twillita Cascarones who has worked as the chief executive receptionist at The Sisters of The Santa San Puerco Hospital for 20 years said that it was not a pretty sight.
She said that the squawking, squealing and screaming was horribly disturbing. And she added that the sounds that the pigs were making were even more horrendously disgusting.
Mr. Salamanca-Covington says that he has been assured by two of his high ranking officials that the People Flu situation should be remedied within the next five weeks.
