In his first day in office, Barak Obama, the new president of the United States, appeared to be upholding his promise for change during his term as president.
Upon rising from his presidential bed, he announced that he would be changing both his underpants and his socks each and every day during his time as president.
Mr Obama was quoted as saying : "I have given a commitment to the American people for change, and I am starting with my underwear".
When asked about how often he would change his shirt, an aide commented that he would probably change it every other day to keep the climate change nuts happy, as he wanted to keep his carbon footprint down.
Mr Obama is reported to be a big fan of Marks & Spencer "Fresh Feet" socks, and has them imported from the UK each month. It was unclear where his underpants are sourced from, leading to wild speculation that he may in fact 'go commando'.
