Washington AC/DC - (Ponzi Scam Mess): The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has grilled Obama Secretary of State-nominee Hillary Clinton over the size of Bernie Madoff's 'charitable' donations to her husband's presidential library.
"I'm guessing it's between £25 and $30 million," Senator Richard Lugar (R. Ind.) chuckled as a beetroot-faced Hillary denied feckless hedge fund trickser Madoff had "ever" tried to curry favor with the Clinton Foundation.
Clinton, 69, also played down reports that Brunei fugitive from justice Prince Jefri Archer had bunged her presidential campaign £2 million, siphoned off from accounts in the Brunei Crude Slush Fund.
