It has been revealed that former US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is actually the legendary Rock & Roll singer Buddy Holly.
Holly who was thought by millions to have been killed in a plane crash in 1959 miraculously survived but was too traumatised to ever return to singing.
Instead he moved to Evanston Illinois, where he changed his name to George Donald Rumsfeld. He later studied at Princeton University and joined the Navy before being elected to the House Of Representatives in 1962.
Rumsfeld was reputed to have been a very good singer by White House staff and often led 'singalongs' in the President's entertainment lounge.
George W Bush when told of the shock news said "Dang! I always wondered how that dude could sing and play guitar so good,... well I'll be".
Mr Rumsfeld when asked by reporters if he had any plans to go back into music was quoted as saying "That'll be The Day!"
Further questioned about his role in the Iraq Invasion he brushed reporters aside and said "It Doesnt Matter Anymore".
