Today in a bold effort to prove that the United States can live on nothing but printing money, The department of Treasury announced an ambitious program to give 2 million dollars to every single American.
Secretary Paulson had this to say about the effort; "In these hard economic times the American people just need a cool 2 million".
Paulson hopes this will give a boost to holiday sales.
"I wanna see a tsunami of sales," he said, with a slight squint in one eye. "The likes of which ye have never before seen."
When asked if this would lead to higher inflation, Paulson responded; "Well if everyone has at least 2 million, who cares?"
