Joe the plumber has voiced his disappointment at what has turned out to be his "15 minutes of fame" to a local radio station in his hometown.
"Yeah, I was hoping for something more exciting," said Joe from his home.
Joe's "15 minutes" came as he walked up to democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and asked about his tax plans while the cameras were rolling.
The exchange became a widely discussed topic in national media for the next couple of days.
"When I was young all I wanted was to be a matador," continued Joe, "then of course as I got older it changed and I soon envisioned myself as a pirate, a cowboy and even a dancing queen, you know like that song. Hell I rather of been "the guy" in some "B" actresses' grainy sex tape, you know with maybe my thumb up her ass or something. But a plumber… Christ man! a god-damned plumber!"
