BALTIMORE - The Yearly Port of Lord Baltimore & Sister City Kawasaki, Japan Birds-of-a-Feather Flock Together Festival was a huge success.
Thousands attended this year's fun-filled event including unemployed Rhode Island tennis coach, Cashmond Nacapini, 27.
The highlight of this year's festival saw Nacapini set the world banana eating record by beating out a total of 603 contestants from as far away as La Paz, Bolivia; Calcutta, India; and Corpus Christi, Texas.
Nacapini, whose nickname is 'Orca Jr.' downed a total of 281 bananas in just under two minutes.
He collected the $15,000 first prize and then quickly slipped away to a nearby 'O'Boy.
