Senator John McCain, the republican candidate for the presidency has unveiled his running mate is a Houston man called Michael Lee White.
At a speech yesterday, the former POW, said 'You may not have heard of Michael Lee White, heck he ain't even a senator, but you have to believe me when I say that he has done great things for America and the corporations that pay my wages.'
Republicans were quick to back the choice saying 'Even though I have no idea who he is, he has my full and unquestioning support. He is a republican and that is all that matters to me. Policies don't even come into it.'
The CIA, who employed Michael Lee White for a short while said 'He speaks quite good Russian and we have a lot of blackmail material on him, so it is the perfect choice."
Mr White is unavailable for comment having lost his passport recently.
