Bush and new old Bush, Johnny McC are opposed to a better GI bill for US troops because soldiers may leave the military after a while to go to college.
Bush told reporters that it was not that he wasn't grateful to the troops who risk, lose and damage their lives for his half-assed schemes. He was just following Republican philosophy that dictates that you only value the thing in the first stage of your plan.
For example, no one on the right cares for the right to a good life; they only care for the fetus' right to a life. After they pass through the pussy it's every one for themselves. So too with the troops, we'll send them to the war zone free and give them any old weapons to fight with but after that they better be ready to fend for themselves. If you commit a crime, you are screwed and if it's a serious crime or you cannot afford a lawyer, you are dead.
