Los Angeles-A polygamist wife interviewed April 16 on CNN's "Larry King Live" has denied a story that the 74 year-old talk host pleaded with her to fly to Las Vegas to wed.
"Yes, his suspenders did seem to get a little snug towards the end of the interview, but all I recall him talking about during the breaks is that he really wanted his wife to meet my hairdresser," stated 49 year old Francis Dovetail in a text message response.
But an unnamed source from CNN paints a different story, claiming Mr. King viewed the polygamist wives interview as a golden opportunity to find someone to spend time with him at his new 300 square foot Tahiti Village timeshare in Las Vegas.
"Larry and his wife are in love and have a wonderful relationship, but she refuses to step foot in that dump of a place he was conned into buying," says the source.
Proposal or not, it's clear Mr. King was impressed with the FLDS wives' stylish hair and stunning pale blue dresses.
"It wasn't a second after they stopped tape and Larry was on the phone with his personal shopper from Saks, wanting her to track down the designer." said the CNN source. "I think he's hoping Saks or Niemans will begin carrying the line by this fall."
