At a recent charity event our President and Commander-In-Chief was seized by hours of stunned silence after Bonzo the clown made a coin disappear then, seemingly, reappear behind Bush's ear.
The whole event was recorded on White House surveillance cameras as the President hosted this year's annual event.
Shortly after his opening-ceremony speech, Bush descended a set of stairs to the left of the stage. He was all smiles while shaking hands when Bonzo approached.
With Secret Service agents on relaxed detail, Bush warmly greeted the clown and gave him, or it, his full attention.
He produced the coin in his left hand, showed it to the President, flailed his arms a bit and opened both hands which were then empty.
At this point his smile disappeared as a look that many described as "complete and utter confusion" came over his face.
Then the clown reached behind Bush's left ear and, seemingly, pulled the coin from behind it.
"We went back over the surveillance video," said Secret Service Agent Trent Blockheed. "His arms dropped to his side. His mouth was so wide open, one of his silver fillings actually gleamed in the camera."
It was obvious that something was wrong as our nation's leader stood frozen after the trick.
Guards rushed to his side and escorted him away from the clown.
Video shows agents leading the now-paralyzed leader-of-the-free-world to a corner where all hopes of reviving him were quickly abandoned preferring, instead, the rejuvenated clown who was now gaining momentum with his magic tricks near the center of the stage.
After the event Bush was loaded into an ambulance and taken to a nearby hospital.
Now the nation, and indeed the world, await news of our fallen leader.
