Raleigh, North Carolina (IPP) - The North Carolina State Lottery has decided to officially eliminate the number 4 from its Play 3 game on a permanent basis.
Lottery officials have adopted the slogan, "Four, What is it good for? Absolutely nothing !"
Players who play the Play 3 game will still have the option of playing the number but the number will never appear again in the popular game where three numbered balls are chosen each night. It has been since February 4, 2008 since the number 4 has appeared in any of North Carolina's Play 3 drawings.
