Atlanta, Georgia (IP) - The Atlanta Post & Times is reporting that the governors of five different southern states have all won the lottery in their respective states this year. The list of states includes Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia.

One disgruntled lottery player, Adolph Finootch, says he has been playing the lottery for 15 years and has never won more than $174 for all of his trouble. He thinks that maybe these lottery games might be "fixed".

The governor of Georgia was able to move from a single wide trailer to a double wide and the governor of North Carolina says he will probably be able to quit his second job as an oil change technician at Luby Lube. The other three governors are in Las Vegas and could not be reached for comment.

The governor of Georgia says he knows the next set of winning numbers and advises folks to play them or spend the rest of their lives regretting not having played them.

He says the numbers for the megaball game will be as follows: 10-20-32-33-54 and megaball = 39. The governor also says that the number 1-7-4 will come in one day this week on the Cash-3 game. He says if you play that number straight and buy twenty tickets with that same number and you will $10,000 tax free because ther is no federal tax on a $1 bet winning less than $601 per one dollar wagered.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
