Buckley was infamous for his viper-like tongue

After so many years of people telling William Buckley Jr to drop down dead he finally did just that.

Buckley, famous for a magniloquent and grandiloquent speaking and writing style was veritably impossible to understand. Thus the many requests from readers and listeners that he go swiftly down to his hellish desserts.

Buckley died still holding the honor of a Guiness Book of Records for the most uses of the words oxymoron, puice and fickledroppedness.

The walking vocabulary builder was also a master sailor, an award-winning spy novelist a brilliant journalist and one of the greatest losing candidates for NY Mayor.

Gore Vidal, long time nemesis of Buckley after reciting this litany of accomplishments could only concur with his most frequent parry to Buckley in their debates: "Oh, please! Drop down dead!"

Buckley's ghost was heard to droan with classic viper tongue flicking: "Dear Gore, Redundancy doth not become thee!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
