Global Language Monitor has been counting words like there's no tomorrow. Paul Payack's website and internet dictionary predicts that soon the English language will give birth to its 1,000,000th word.
Critics cite the unorthodox verbiage that Payack includes in his dictionary as proof that his standards are somewhat too low.
GLM lists words like Billary- the legal bills President Clinton charged to his wife's law firm, blankie- what Cheney's hunting partner wished was in the VP's rifle, latte liberal- a democrat who failed to vote because he was caught in the Starbuck's drive-through, locavore- one who eats any old, crazy shit, abaganation- a vacation without a bag because it's at a nudist colony and smirting or its synonym flirking which involves trying to pick someone up amid the clouds of smoke outside office buildings.
