Strange things have been happening in the Obama campaign. The couple's purchase of an Hyannis Port seaside mansion is just the beginning. Media have observed front lawn football games with people described as Barack's big family, most of whom have never been seen before. Sailboating, squash and late night carousing have been new additions to the Obama family life.
A Secret Service agent named O'Brien who has served since 1960 commented that that was the last time he was asked to usher starlets in the middle of the night to a public figures back door. "Of course", Agent O'Brien noted, "I never worked for Clinton!"
Staff at the mansion have noted a new New England accent from Obahmah as he now insists to be called. "He wants his cah pahked and he keeps telling me to ahsk not what he can do for me, but ahsk what I can do for him. . . ahsk my ahss", was longtime Obama chaffeur, Sweet Willie Kennedy's comment.
This weekend a fundraiser for the Obama campaign will headline a production of Camelot with Morgan Freeman as Arthur, Seal as Lancelot and Beyonce as Guinevere.
