In effort to increase awareness of anti-gay positioning among House Members, advocates for the gay community are threatening boycotts in towns where opposition holds primary seats. Homo friendly lobbyist's are afraid that a same sex marraige bill will fail on the floor at the capital.
Stillwater area merchants are already feeling the pinch as they have been first in a string of boycotts by gay men and women. Mary Wilson, DFL Stillwater urges that this issue concerns opinion and not dollars. Already coffee houses, book stores and pet shops are feeling early ramifications of the boycott. Area residents of Stillwater consider traffic in there "Artsy" community part of the sustenance that maintains there community as a whole.
"The fact that access to public restrooms seems less congested now has little merit," cites Lester Grisweld, "I've got two daughters that dont stand a chance in a conventional dating regime".
Proponents of the bill are suggesting that the fight be fought at the capital.
