Washington, D.C. - While away at President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, some of Carl Rove's White House co-workers back in Washington decided to carryout some gamesmanship of their own in honor of their beloved political stagiest's departure next month.

Rove returned early Wednesday to find his Jaguar all wrapped up in clear plastic wrap, while still it parked in its secured parking facility. Placed on it were an "I Love Barack Obama" bumper sticker on the trunk, along with two stuffed-animal eagles and a stuffed-animal elephant on the hood.

Officials are attempting to spin the story as a good humor prank by beloved co-workers as we speak, but it left the car looking like a giant prophylactic. Which has some Washington insiders quietly saying to themselves, "Rove, you just got Punk'd"?

"It was supposed to a giant prophylactic," said a Rove office co-worker, who asked to keep her identity secret. "Only he was not in the car at the time. Well, at least that's the politically incorrect joke that's going around the office."

Initially there has been some speculation that the prank was an act of vandalism and filing charges were considered for a time, until it was discovered that all the perpetrators involved were Republicans, except for one who was an Independent.

It was determined that although he acted along with group, his intentions were somehow not good-natured but malicious, so he alone faces criminal prosecution. Unless he changes party affiliation to GOP after his conviction, at which point he is entitled to receive one complimentary Presidential pardon given to each new Republican member.

Rove is said to have taken the prank rather well, considering he faced over two years in Federal prison just last month.

"Rove has learned his lesson," said a spokesman for Rove. "This prank has taught him never lie to a grand jury investigating the outing of undercover active field CIA agent ever again. He doesn't even want to think about what could happen to him next if he did."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
