Washington (IP) - Mattel recalled the good old days today. Mattel CEO Henry Finootch can remember the days when lead was not even poison yet. He can even remember back to a point before poison was poison and when boys could be boys and men could be men.
Finootch, whimsically shaking his head, says , "I'll never forget the good ole days and old what's his name. Ah yes, those were the great times. The times have changed and to make matters worse they keep on a-changin. Back when I was a boy we had to walk three miles through the snow in order to walk three miles through the snow".
Mr. Finootch was referring to Ike Eisenhower who was president in the 1950's as "what's his name" but he could not be specific about anything in particular because he has played with too many lead tainted toys and has lost much of his memory. This has in no way hampered his ability to act as CEO.
He abruptly cut off the interview and his chauffeur helped into his Silver Shadow and they were off to meet with some Chinese salesmen who had offered to make him a great deal on some toys that could earn him a killer profit.
