La Guardia Airport - (Rioters): NY cops have arrested a man who nearly suffocated a marmoset monkey by stuffing it inside his trousers during a flight fromFlorida.
Airline crew spotted the beast when something began to wriggle unexpectedly in his trousers as the tea and coffee trolley was being wheeled through the aisles.
A Spirit Airlines spokeswoman Alison Russell told reporters: "At first I thought it was just the usual pervy passenger we often get on these trips from Florida.
"But when I saw a cute and furry head emerge from the man's flies I was shocked and stunned and nearly freaked out totally."
Ms Russell said the monkey then spent the remainder of the flight in the man's seat "and both appeared to be well-behaved".
Airports cops have questioned the man to see if any onscenity or animal cruelty laws have been broken and it remains unclear whether either will face any criminal charges.
