CALIFORNIA (Sacramento Bee) - Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed public television personality Huell Howser to be the new 'Minister of California'. The surprise announcement happened overnight during a press conference in which Schwarzenegger also announced that his state will lead the way in pulling out of Iraq.
Some people have called it a coup due to the fact that it happened while everyone slept (except, of course, for those who stayed up late contemplating it).
"I vaz sick and tired of my National Guard troops being deployed to Iraq again and again," said The Governator. "Dat is vhy I have appointed my new number one guy to be Huell Howser."
Mr. Howser is expected to announce a full withdrawal of California troops from Iraq beginning tomorrow.
