Washington, USA (IP UP WE All P) - President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney spent the entire day fly fishing the back waters of the Potomac river today.

The day was unusually warm and they were seen spending a lot of time trying to keep pesky little gnats off of themselves.

They made repeated casts with the fly rod and the thick green line made graceful arcs and loops in a dazzling display of casting skills.

Dick Cheney had desperately wanted to bring along his shotgun but the president would have no part of it for obvious reasons. It was one of the few times that Dick had been seen outside of his secret hiding place which actually is a deep underground bunker capable of sustaining any hit that a potential enemy might attempt against it.

After fly fishing all day the executive duo were seen leaving the woods and reporters swarmed all around them not unlike the gnats which had been pestering them all day.

One reporter found it odd that the president was carrying a tiny ice cooler and he boldly asked George if they had caught anything. George said, "Oh yes we caught 20 or 30 but we are not sure if we will have to make a decent meal out of them". The reporter was puzzled by this reply and asked if he could take a picture of their catch. The President opened the cooler to show off his catch and there inside were 30 tiny black deer fly and he complained about how hard it was to fillet such tiny creatures.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
