New York, NY (FP) - Congressman Ron Paul invites former mayor Rudy Guiliani to debate American foreign policy in UFC (Ultimate Fighting Challenge) style match-up Saturday.
"Rudy thinks he got me in that second debate in South Carolina, but I think after he finds his way into the Octagon, I might be able to make him apologize for being such an ignoramus about American foreign policy," Paul was quoted as saying Saturday. "He should be able to find this ring, right? He can read a map, right?" Paul snickered in a confident manner.
Paul, who holds a nearly flawless record for beating his opponents with a quite confidence and is known around the circuit for his hellasious choke holds, is extremely certain that he can "educate" Guiliani about American foreign policy.
"The Shahs? I thought they owned a Irish pub in the upper west side, back in the 1950's," Guiliani responded to the question regarding Paul's description of the Iranian leader who was installed by the CIA back in 1953 to replace the democratically elected prime minister Mohammed Mossadegh, mentioned during the last debate.
"Blowback? You may want to talk to Bill about that one," snorted Guiliani regarding the CIA's term for negative reciprocation from meddling in another nation's affairs.
"Ayatollah? I think I tried that dish once, but it really didn't agree with me, way too spicy," Guilinai answered to another question about the past Iranian leader.
When asked about the invitation, the former mayor didn't say no, but said that he would need to read-up before facing off with Ron Paul again and accessed that because of the location of the match-up, he should have the crowd behind him.
