New York - Entertainment Meekly. Fox will turn Fridays into music night with the American Idol spin-off that tries to confer stardom on a brand nude star, not just a singer.
Fox is attempting to spread some of the American Idol success to the autumn ratings. That hit shows producers will be behind the new show, too.
It will be paired on Friday nights with Hicksville, a Real World-type reality show about people trying to make it in the type of music business that has both kinds of music, country AND western.
Nude Idol will be about anyone at all that will get their kit off and warble.
"The great thing about this show" said Paula Madbull, who is currently recovering from an operation to replace her coked up nose, "is that anyone can take part, if they look so good naked that it takes our minds off how bad they are at singing, that's great for us and of course great for ratings"
