Bristol, Rhose Island - (Ass mess): The curse of Don Imus is spreading fast as two more radio shock jocks were fired today for repeating his inimicable racist diatribe about 'nappy-headed hos'.
Dana Peloso and Jon Porter, college shock-jocks at Roger Williams University's student-run radio station were suspended after repeating the Imus mantra.
In their defence they have citied their constitutional free speech rights which they feel have been violated by the university's administration.
But college authorities said this is a pair of old pros who have played the free speech game before to up their audience figures.
In 2004 they offered a whites-only scholarship to protest affirmative action, upsetting both whites and non-whites on the college campus.
Their recent Imus diatribe has been described as "tacky, provocative and needlessly assinine given the current situation."
Don Imus meanwhile has hired New York hot shot attorney martin Garbage to fight his corner in a legal compensation suit against CBS for unfair dismissal.
