(Georgetown, DC) -- A Washington, DC man had a date last night with a woman. Confirmed with witnesses at the Warner Theater where comic George Carlin was performing and at a nearby restaurant, it is believed to be this first such siting in at least 18 months. The couple was later seen sharing an ice cream cone in public in Georgetown.
"I was reading the latest position paper on global warming waiting for the show to start when I looked up - and there he was, a man with a woman - on a date," said a startled aide to Senator Booby Hatch (R-1066). "I was going to call The Washington Post - or Homeland Security - but they seemed so happy together, I just enjoyed watching them til the lights went down, added Bill McClusky, a freelance secular humanist.
There were reports of the couple in Georgetown and attendance dropped off a bit at the Panda house at the national zoo.
