New York - (Ass Mess): A British performance artist, Anthony Charles Lynton Blair QC, has started his 72 hour sponsored crawl across New York in a Lisa Nowak-style standard-issue NASA diaper dressed as George Bush.
A sign on his back offers the public a chance to kick his backside: "Bush Kicks Ass!"
The stunt is believed to be a sponsored bid to start paying off his £5 million mortgage after banks threatened to reposses his Connaught Square terraced home.
"Tony's doing what Tony does best: crawling for Bush, getting kicked in the butt and getting paid for it", said a Drowning Street spokesman today.
Asked if the stunt was somewhat degrading the aide replied that it was no more cruel or unusual than arse-licking for the Bushes in a formal capacity as Prime Monster of the UK.
The US Ambassador to London, Robert 'Katie' Holmes Tuttle was asked for his opinion of the sponsored crawl and said that "Brits have been crawlin' on their hands and knees to the USA since Bretton Woods. It's definitely an art form.
"Whether it's conceptual art, or impressionism, or post-coital exhibitionism I just don't know. But it sure is popular in Lower Manhattan!"
The public show finishes on Oscars Night and is being videoed as a special training film for the UN Security Council.
