Washington DC - (Rotters): The Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a lawsuit alleging President Bush's Uncle Bucky is one big crook who creamed off $20 Million in a defense contractor fraud scam from an illegal stock-option timing scheme.
The White House's response to the lawsuit was predictable: "£20 million? Peanuts!" - which is hardly surprising given that the President's idea of emergency contractor aid for Iraq consisted of an airdrop of $12 billion in brown paper sacks strewn all over Baghdad in an operation similar to earthquake relief package dumping in the Kashmir region two years ago.
But for Uncle Bucky Bush things are not quite so gung-ho.
His company Engineered Support Systems Inc of St Louis sold equipment and electronics to the US military and business boomed because of the Iraq war.
Bucky swears blind that he has not "pulled any strings in Washington" to win those Iraq war contracts.
But things are not so rosy for him or other Bush family members:
The President's younger brother Marvin Bush is also in trouble after being accused in a class action lawsuit against HCC Insurance Holdings of making $2.2 from backdated options as a direct result of Bush war policies in Iraq.
Expect more Bush worms to come crawling out of the woodwork as the Justice Department starts to corrall in the profiteers in the cominbg days and weeks.
