BILLINGSGATE POST: This morning, despite admitting previously that he was one of the folks in the yearbook depicting a Black Face and a hooded Klansman, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam now denies he was in the picture.
With everyone from Nancy Pelosi to the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi demanding that he resign, he tried to defuse the controversy by saying that the picture was actually part of a Rat Pack gig done by Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. in which they sang “Mr. Bojangles.”
However, the Governor was unable to tell reporters whether he knew who was the Black Face and who was the hooded klansman in the picture.
I knew a man,
Bojangles,
And he’d dance for you...
I don’t think Governor Northam will be able to dance around this one.
