Now that his wife has announced that she's establishing an exploratory committee to pursue a possible presidential run, Bill Clinton is doing a little 'exploration' of his own.
Knowing that Hillary gets what she wants, he's preparing for a return to the White House. He's chosen Armani as the designer for his outfit for inauguration day and is in the process of selecting a hair stylist to give him a 'do' suitable for a first gentleman. He's planning a complete redesign of the White House and its furnishings and is working on new heart-friendly menus for state dinners.
Clinton says he'll consider it part of his job to "make women feel welcome at the White House." Therefore, he'll be arranging sewing circles, knitting groups, and book clubs.
Presidential holiday events like the Easter Egg Roll, usually limited to the lawn of the White House, will be extended. The East Room will be the venue for a special subsidiary "Easter Roll" event, open to consenting adults.
Meanwhile, daughter Chelsea Clinton doesn't share her parents' enthusiasm and is not overjoyed that being first daughter (again!) may be in her future. "Been there, done that," she's remarked to friends. "I don't think it's fair that I'm now called upon for a do-over."
