New on the list of dangerous things for black men to do is PWB, or Playing Pokemon Go While Black.
Micheal Stokes an African American man who lives in Denver, Colorado, plays the new game. Stokes was confronted and held at gunpoint by a homeowner who thought he looked suspicious after he walked by his dwelling several times.
"I thought the guy was casing the house to rob it, it looked like he was taking pictures of the house with his phone too, so I came out with my Glock and made a citizen's arrest," said the man who declined to give his name to a Denver Post reporter.
When police arrived on the scene they arrested Stokes for suspicion of mischief but later released him with a warning for Walking While Black After Dark.
Other black men across the country have faced similar experiences and tensions remain high between police and minority communities after recent shooting incidents in the US.
In order to avoid future shooting incidents, police forces across the country are now busy retraining their officers to handle the new influx of reports of suspicious looking black men who are simply playing Pokemon Go.
