WASHINGTON, DC - The Justice Department is preparing to bring a lawsuit against polar bear conservationists Polar Bear Lovers over a pattern of racially discriminatory tactics.
Attorney General Eric Holder said this week he expects to announce the results of the department's investigation of the probe of Polar Bear Lovers before he leaves office in the coming weeks.
The lawsuit stems from a sleuth of black bears in Norther Idaho, who have claimed that the only reason polar bears are protected is because they are white.
Polar Bear Lovers is the world's largest polar bear conservation organization. Their research, education, and programs address the issues that endanger polar bears.
