WASHINGTON, DC - President Obama will nominate Catwoman to succeed Eric Holder as attorney general, Whitehouse press secretary Joker, said Friday.
If confirmed, she would be the first single superhero woman to serve as the nation's top law enforcement official. It would also be a rare instance of Obama reaching around his inner circle to fill a crucial post.
Obama's nomination of Catwoman might carry substantial political benefits after losing a humiliating defeat at the hands of Republicans last week.
Her nomination also allows Obama, questioned in recent days about what he might do differently after the drubbing by Republicans, to bring a fresh face into an administration many have criticized as too stereotypical. Many thought that Mr. Obama would nominate an African American female.
