GREENBAY, WI - In an incredibly ironic twist, openly gay football player, Michael Sam, was traded by the St. Louis Rams to the Greenbay Packers.
Sam was drafted by the Rams on May 10, 2014 in the seventh round. Shortly after reporting to the team, Sam disclosed that he was not happy with the Rams' decision to have him play center, instead Sam's favorite position of defensive end.
Asked about his other favorite positions, Sam responded, "Reverse cowboy, inverse 68, basset hound, deep stick, plumber, bulldog, split roast, pile driver, pirate's bounty, deep impact, flying spider, bumper cars, and forbidden fruit".
