90 Year old Mary Hall, according to friends and family, would have just loved the funeral arranged by her sons; which by all accounts was a sombre yet tasteful funeral, attended by more than 300 mourners from across the country.
The only downside, said many, was the fact she was not there to see it.
"She would have loved to have been here," said friend Sara Gutterman, "she always loved a good burial."
Mary's son, Donald, spent over $8,500 on the ceremony which included flowers, a very nice coffin and a gathering at his home afterwards.
"Well, to be honest, it's her life insurance paying for all this," admitted Donald, "still, it's a pity she couldn't see it, and of course the only downside to today is the fact she's dead."
