CODY, Wyoming - Officials at Yellowstone National Park are extremely puzzled at how in the world a Yellowstone rhinoceros ended up in Goodland, Kansas.
The rhino named Randy was really in good shape except that he had worn his hooves down pretty bad. Animal vets say that they can give Randy a certain type of vitamin supplement that will cause his hooves to grow back to their original size.
An animal expert who deals with rhino's and hippo's stated that an adult male rhino like Randy has a tremendous inner instinct and he most probably sensed the rumbling of the volcano that is directly underneath Yellowstone and he decided to head for safety.
Experts pointed out that Randy was smart enough to head in a southeasterly direction instead of in a western direction which would have taken him smack dab into California and Earthquake Country.
