A California woman who says she was injured by a motorist while following an online walking route has filed a lawsuit claiming she was supplied unsafe directions.
The woman was struck by a car as she tried to walk across what she called an "unsafe intersection" that she was directed to by GPS.
"I realize that these are updated regularly and that things change before you can get your maps up to date. However, you should have placed an asterisk that someone could come around that blind spot and run a person down, even though this map is three years old and given to me by a friend who has a 'puter"
The lady's friends tried to tell her that she was confusing Google Earth with her vehicle's GPS system, but she wrote to Google anyway.
An apology has been duly issued to the victim and will offer the woman directions on where and how to go to kiss their ass!
