In New York, the Republican Party spent a night celebrating former President Bush's leadership in the war on terror. The First Lady said that her husband didn't want to go to war.
She stated, "I remember sitting in the window of the White House watching as my husband walked on the lawn below" where he stumbled into the lawn chair, got bit in the groin by the dog, slammed his hand onto the gas grill, knocked over a table of fine china, and fell into the presidential pool. Ah, the memories of a great leader.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Austrian-born bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-politician stated, "He is a man of perseverance, a man of inner strength, a leader who doesn't flinch, doesn't waiver, does not back down." When asked by a reporter if these were Arnold's personal thoughts of former President Bush, Arnold replied, "Oh no. I was referring to Billy from the movie Predator."
