MIAMI - A Miami couple purchased a parrot three weeks ago and within four days they had taught it to sing the hit song by Queen "We Are The Champions."
Barry and Gail Honeyhorn, who have only been married for three months, said that they had no idea that their new parrot which they named Good Golly Miss Polly was musically inclined.
Gail said that one day she was watching a rerun of Gilligan's Island and to her amazement her new bird began singing the show's theme song.
She said that their new bird did mess up by singing Mary Fran instead of Mary Ann but other than that she was right on the money and on key.
The Honeyhorn's and Good Golly Miss Polly have been approached by the world champion Miami Heat who would like for Good Golly Miss Polly to sing "We Are The Champions" at their first home game of the upcoming season.
SIDENOTE: The Honeyhorn's have hired a talent agent who said that if they can teach Good Golly Miss Polly to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" then they will be able to rake in a lot of money at baseball, football, and basketball games.
