WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Army soldier Chelsea Manning is seeking the office of President Of The United States according to the Federal Election Committee (FEC).
Manning's lawyer, Gaylord E. Whadd, said that Chelsea has raised the required $5000 necessary to automatically become a candidate. "She" is now required by the FEC to keep them updated with financial reports on all candidates' income, personal spending and debt settlements for the entirety of "her" campaign.
"She" is currently on the 2016 ballot in one state, California, with more than 10,000,000 signatures on "her" petition.
Chelsea Manning, formerly Bradley Manning, is serving a 35-year sentence for leaking classified military and diplomatic information while working as an CIA analyst in Iraq in 2010.
