WASHINGTON, D.C. - Several Republican senators have expressed concern over the fact that President Obama allowed George Clooney and his stunning girlfriend Stacy Keibler the use of Air Force One.
White House Press Secretary Cal Colfax responded to the allegations by saying that the U.S. Air Force One Manual of Operations clearly states on page 137 that the president has the right to use Air Force One in any way he deems fit.
Colfax added that it is no secret that President George "Dubya" Bush used to lend Air Force One out to his Texas hunting buddies on many occasions.
And President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy reportedly used to host post Academy Award parties aboard Air Force One as it was parked at Los Angeles' LAX Airport.
When a reporter for GOPicky Magazine asked Mr. Colfax why Air Force One was lent out to George Clooney and his girlfriend, he smiled and remarked that the reason was classified.
SIDENOTE: Noted presidential historian Trevor B. Pipptinpetti commented that President Abraham Lincoln on many occasions lent out Conestoga Wagon One to many wounded Union soldiers so that they could be transported back to their homes in the North.
