CLEVELAND, Ohio - In an interesting twist of events, a telemarketing group in Pakistan has just outsourced its phone telemarketing program to The Hello Telemarketing Agency which is based in Cleveland.
Pakistan's Yak Yak Telemarketing Agency, which is the third largest in the country, has decided that it would be much more productive to switch over to having American phone representatives and agents than having Pakistani reps and agents speaking to Yak Yak clients and customers.
A Yak Yak spokesperson Fatima Noreen Hassanamad, 37, stated that independent research studies clearly showed that when calls were received at the phone center in Karachi lots of precious time was lost when the caller would ask "Would you please repeat that again, I'm sorry but I could not understand you."
The six-month long study concluded that, that particular phrase was uttered by callers at least 87,000 times a day, which is quite a lot considering that the phone center averaged 22,000 calls per day.
Miss Hassanamad said that meant that the particular phrase was used about 3.95 times per call.
SIDENOTE: The Yak Yak Telemarketing Agency has stated that if the Cleveland agency is as successful as they think it will be they will open up a secondary telemarketing phone agency in Avocado Heights, California.
