Governor Chris Christie was hung in effigy this morning at the GOP headquarters in the Nation's capital. Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican Party, spared nothing in his criticism of the Governor who had given the key note speech at the GOP convention.
"Benedict Arnold was a saint compared to this monster! Tokyo Rose was Mother Teresa compared to this turncoat! Judas was a regular guy in comparison to this mealy mouth son of a bitch! Any elected official that puts his constituency before his super Pac's is a low life and a discredit to his profession."
At this juncture Priebus gave a nod to a crane operator who lifted the effigy of Christie high into the air and hung him on a scaffold. As the assembled cried out in horror and dismay, the weight of the effigy was too much and the scaffold gave way forcing the entire hierarchy of the Republican Party to be buried under the weight.
The Associated Press reports that there were no serious injuries when federal disaster personnel arrived on the scene and raised a banner two stories tall that read: "The truth shall set you free."
