TAMPA, FL --- Vice President, Joe Robinette Biden was released from the Shriners Hospital for Children after a two hour checkup early this morning.
Hospital spokeswoman Paula Shackles said, "Despite his temporary discomfort the Vice President should recover fully and resume his functions both in office and otherwise."
Biden was admitted to the hospital after experiencing minor discomfort below the Vice Presidential seal of his belt buckle. Neither the Vice President nor the hospital would say what the discomfort was or what caused it.
According to the Vice President, "I was standing off to the side of the G-Bar in Ybor City, when out of nowhere I was unexpected blown by Isaac. It was such a big f---king deal, even worse than the hair plugs I had put in for that trophy wife of mine, oops fellas, please make that last comment about Jill off the record willya, I'm already in crap for what Isaac did to me."
Ironically Biden was in Provincetown, at the tip of Cape Cod, yesterday, for a "fun-raiser" where he said, "If I had to use one adjective to describe this community it'd be courage, you have summoned the courage to speak out, to come out. We owe you."
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney denied that President Obama has taken up smoking again.
