Washington,D.C.-The nation is on pins and needles awaiting the most important decision of the Supreme Court's current term: whether to grant clemency to chronic parking scofflaw Adam Click.
The case involves the long running battle between Mr. Click and the District of Columbia Police, in which Mr. Click contends that he shouldn't have to pay outstanding parking tickets for a vehicle he only uses for the purposes of sleeping and fornication.
The District of Columbia asserts that it can't believe a simple parking ticket case has made it all the way to the supreme court. Especially since it involves the paltry sum of $23.00.
"That may seem like a paltry sum to some," explained Mr. Click "but that's nearly a week's wages when you do the sort of quality writing I do for a living."
